PVC on wet plaster...

Hi,

I've just had a plasterer plaster a wall with some imperfections in, so he volunteered to re-skim it. The plaster was still drying on the wall (hadn't changed colour at all) and he painted PVA onto the 'still drying' plaster. Then went home for the evening, with a view to doing the re-skim the following day.

My worry is that the PVA layer (2 reasonably thick coats) is now going to seal the plaster underneath and the plaster under the PVA isn't going to dry. Is that something I am worrying about unnecessarily? I just can't see how the plaster under it will dry (and I'll end up with a damp problem?)

Any advice welcome...

He should of just used easi fill and sanded afterwards if it was a few imperfections for him to reskim the lot must of been s**t,in regards to your question it will be fine

It won't be a problem, it will dry.
