Hi, new to the site, I got dropped in at the deep end on a new,
old house we bought, had stud walls to build and lots of skimming,,, after reading reviews on here decided to head down to able skills for a 2 weekend course, great place excellent instructors...
Then home to give it a go, took it slow, hard work on my own mixing cleaning up and trowling up but really pleased with the results, walls, new ceiling and reviels, will put some pics up when i work out how, no cracks anywhere (yet).
Start next room today with skeelings to skim, should be fun, will also put pics up when i can. Im in the herne bay area, kent and looking for employment as a beginner, any one out there want a 40 something beginner?

Hello mate welcome along, the best thing about starting plastering at your age is your alot nearer to retirement, then you would of been had you started at 16.
