Hey guys, im 18, currently training to be a plasterer at college on my second year, done quite a few foreigners (lol) bit of pocket money.
I have been told a few times that im a good plasterer.
Just wondering if it actually matters being qualified? I would much rather go straight out into work now one reason needing the money (head gasket is going on the car!!!) second reason being cant be bothered with the teachers

stick with it mate, the time will fly by, you will need a qualification if you wanna go on site in the future they are getting stricter.

get into plasternin my son, like a man after my own heart, if you can do a twin cam 16 head gasket you have the right attitude...
end of..

Get every bit of paper you can mate, might seem like a waste of time at the mo but in the future you'll be grateful of em. By the way dont those teachers get on your nerves LOL

Finding them:/ put fliers out in local shops but all the majority of interest im getting is big jobs which i wouldnt be able to do.
Got two job also but pay isnt great, and sitting stacking shelves isnt my interest but money is money for the time being

Do you not know any older plasterers? give them the bigger jobs and give them a lift, take the small jobs too you wont make £1000s yet but you will gain something more valuable 'Experiance'
