hi got some quoins to repair with epoxy resin filler the quoins have been chipped away on the arris about twelve of em has anybody repaired theese before was just wondering the best way to go about it ive asked the builder for some 2x1 par to put up against each arriss but not sure if its the right thing to do they are only small repairs from what i can gather cheers

Use NHL lime mortar repair stuff it can be coloured to get an exact match go here https://www.lime-mortars.co.uk and ring colin... send him a sample of what you want to have matched... he charges £30.00 ish to match render you will need a nhl 3.5 lime with a very fine sand... he will keep you right mate... ps resoration work gets big bucks so dont under sell yourself here think minimum £50.00 per hour plus materials

cheers mate but the company that did the brickwork have allready got the materials they told me over the phone what it was but ive forgot its supose to be the same colour match with this resin stuff you put on first to stick it

if the quoins are stone and not reconstituted stuf then you can just use a week slurry mix over the repair prior to dubbing up and re forming

ok mate cheers its a new build house with manufactured stone quoins with fine face on em buff colour its only tiny bits that have been chipped away by ie scaffolders an such i will just use what they have got me an see how it goes thanks for help
