did you have problems with loose grit/crap getting caught on your trowel from the blockwork and dragging onto your boards when skimming? i suppose dampening them down first would have helped but surely not battled it completely? and they sure so luook extra gritty and loose

nah wet it all up first mate,helps alot..they got varnished after aswell..nice bathroom hey lol
