The Lake Governor
I've never needed to use this before but yesterday I had an example panel of just 1m2 to do on site for the heritage people to look at, so while in Wickes picking up a couple of bags of sand I saw the rapid cement out of the corner of my eye. That could be handy for such a small panel I thought, beaded the panel mixed up using said cement, obviously put on in no time at all so I thought right every thing I don't need packed back in the van and get mixing gear washed. Washed the drill, feather edge, hawk and then went to tip the left over gear out of the mixing tub :o :o bloody hell the stuff was nearly solid, dropped the tub and got straight onto the panel. Spraying water and rushing and tearing on a 1m2 panel, what was supposed to make life easier turned out to be hard work :(

used to use something a powder to set cement up cant remember the name now but it was good and you could control it.

i do use the rapid set especially patching up reveals etc

I used it last winter for a panel outside, it was well chilly and was over tanking it took an hour or so until it started to pull then within 20 minutes it was solid

Even with s*x equality laws you can't employ a woman on site in Essex as you can't get white steel toe cap stilettos ;)
