wish i could go down that route, would mean re-coving the round living area, have to refit all door frames and arcitraves etc, just gonna let the damp do its thing as its going to be 46 degrees c soon, then ill be back in the winter when its cooled down to a bareably temperature to hack off the damaged render and redo.

reason its so bad is cos of the ammount of rain its had this year  but then again the build quality over there is shockingly bad, ah i dunno what im gonna do, something to do each year i guess during the quiet times.

what about solving the reason its damp in the first place? youll be wasting your time otherwise..

it was in the damp proof section in the beginners guides bit

as far as im aware the damps come from all the rain theyve had, flooded down the mountain, theres no membrane or anything down on the floor so probs come up through there or the fact they screw into the building, no kind of sealant into the holes or anything to try stop damp getting in :-\
