Rendaid and mesh on breeze block

Hi all

Just after some advice. I have a breeze block shed that I would like to render using Weber ocr.

Weber advised me to used Rendaid first at 3mm thickness, then press in some mesh and stipple roll it and let set
Then apply the ocr as required

Could I use bond it pre grit instead of rendaid? or should I be using mesh and Rendaid instead? Is the mesh absolutely necessary?

This is just a diy project so apologies in advance if I have anything wrong

No you can’t use bond it it’s an interior pre grit, and yes rend aid and mesh is absolutely necessary mesh is embedded in to strengthen and minimise cracking in the render just stick to what the manufacturer are advising otherwise if it goes tits up and you haven’t stuck to the spec they won’t give a s**t

Hmmm, might be a place for you in the CHD team.

Awesome thanks for the advice

I take it the mesh goes into the rendaid? Or should I put it in the ocr?
