Render acelerator

Has any one used acelerator in texture on ewi? Is it worth using, or waiting for a break in the weather?

Not used it for years. Used a bit of winter grade tho.

Owls has used some recently.

Personally I try to avoid texture coat from November onwards.
Got a small job there that washed off last week needs doing again. I took a chance due to it being 3 buckets only but it came off 3 days after application.

I used some last December on Cantilana? SPS Envirowalls bucket coat. It was fine, seem hard to the touch next day and it rained 3 days later with no trouble. Maybe I was lucky.

If it is a refurb job with an element of heat loss that would help.

Yep as the man jfe says I used some recently with parex dpr.
with a bit of wind on my side it dried before we left, took about 7 hours to dry.
But I try and avoid bucket coats this time of year. Depends what your using I guess parex isn't a bad setter but your weber etc takes an age.

Thanks lads, its parex told them all hold off for now and were fine.
