I rendered some new block work today, I pva'd the blocks and decided to add some waterproofer to the mix, the render didn't dry out enough and eventually fell off the wall after I tried to flattened it down some more. I don't normally use this method, any ideas anyone on why this happened, I think it was too much of a moisture brake.

I give up!!!!
