Alright lads anyone ever applied insulated render to a airey house. Its a post war property with a concrete slate/tile on the outside walls. could turn into a nightmare to be honest

No idea how to send a pic across sorry pal. There's a few on google images. Think its one to swerve to be honest, speaking to a structural guy , he reckons slabs won't take the weight of the system and all the drilling could mess the concrete plinths that keep the property standing. Alarm bells are a ringing

right got ya
had a enquiry from Barnsley Council for some of these and the spec was as follows
Jet wash and treat panels (anti fungal)
Fix starter tracks etc
Fit insulated panel with one fixing to cntre
First pass base rend and mesh
When cured, fix panels with further mechanical fixings (min five per board)
Second pass ready for decorative finish

i would off personally put a few more fixings in the first dry fix stage , but thats what they wanted
Don't know if this helps mate, also the wetherby Link Removed site has some specs for these kinds of property as well as the site advertising on the forum SPS Envirowall

Cheers warrior, did the council spec not included the fillet detail (fixed to the slabs to flush the substrate true ). The guy has specified the wbs system and it includes these eps fillet,s. I,ll have look at the sp specs cheers

Ah yes i seem to remember something along those lines , but i can't remember exactly , i will see if i can find the tender docs, for some reason i seam to remember the fillets being dubbed out with ocr , but i may be wrong
