Hi, I'm a plasterer but have never rendered before. Wanted to get into the rendering side of things so asked if I could help out a builder I know on a sand and cement rendering job he had coming up! It's a repair job on a house. We have finished a few walls and iv noticed a few hairline cracks coming out all over the place! He's telling me this is normal and happens all the time. Is this true? If not how do I prevent this? He knocked old render off scored the bricks with a grinder as they are smooth, pva'd, scratch coated then second coated the next day, is this correct practice?
Any advice would be good as trying to learn the best way
Cheers Rendering cracks

I thought it from what I have read on here! Was abit reluctant to post to be honest! What are the reasons it's happening so I can see what he says? Cause I'm still on the Job.
