top coated a extention over garage today.scratched it 2 weeks ago and put plenty of waterproofer in as i thought it would go off quick.top coated today.it went off like a right c++t.wet it down twice prior to topping.could only lay on around 10 m2 at atime before 1 of us dropping back to staff off.i`ll put spr in scratch next time

you sure you put loads of waterproofer in? that usually holds it way back I try not to use waterproofer it has an nasty side. forget sbr use polymer mortar next time and one it/float it/done/pay day. ;)

You allways get a lot of suction from mesh especially when 2 coating it doesn't matter what waterproofer you use , but if you three coat it that will hold back better.

Also if the area is big enough you can put a tight coat all over the mesh and turn back and put another coat over it and rule it and scratch it the same day it works well as long the second coat is not pushing through the 1st , it acts the same way as a pricking up coat and a scratch and the suction will be controlled .

cementone freeflow is the best it has a waterproofer plasticizer and retarder all in one, just use the maximum stated dosage and add it to the gauging water for all coats then the only thing you need to worry about is the sun ;)

oh and no i aint wrote a guide and i dont cut and paste them, they are all my own words thankyou :)

Yes I can just imagine it ,today we are going to be learning about skimming just hold on a few min till I read about it in my book .lol
