Rendering over very uneven brickwork

I have done a fair bit of internal wall plastering but never attempted any rendering until now. I have a brick outbuilding at the end of my garden and i am hoping to render all of the internal walls but the brickwork is all over the place. Every wall is different and in places you're looking at bricks sitting 10mm + proud.

What is the best approach to get a good even finish?

2 scatch coats

Thanks, are we looking at 5mm per scratch coat or should i go thicker on the first to try and level it out slightly?

Just put it on at a thickness that your comfortable with

AT 10 mm you could chop the bricks that are sitting proud of with a lump hammer and bolster .

Couple of scratch coats but keep the following coats thinner or it will crack or blow

Use Bauwer lite. You can put it on up to 75mm
