Ok so again im just putting a quote to gether for some rendering, i will just be on the job to learn so iv got a plasterer in for £130 a day, company will supply materials iv got a lab in for 50 a day, so im charging £210 A DAY bit extra to cover the tax i may have to pay in the lab has to be a cashie chavy.

its only about a day and half's work far as i can see but im charging for the 2 at £420 its under 40m2 quite easy as far as i no. but do you think im over charging?

im only doing this to learn, and the lab is there 2 mix up and lug it up the scaffolding

will this be a regular builder who will be giving you work. if it is you don't want to start off cheap because they will alway expect you to do any other work for the same price

cheap price that pal. render rates usually carry higher rates than spreading you gotta cover mixing rainy days etc. for a one off tho its not a problem.

For the record, I charge £25 per m2 - So if that were my job I'd be going in around the 900 - 1000 mark for 2 coat work

thats what i go in at as well. £20 at a push

I do a lot of external rendering, I have references from builders and the NHBC for my work and yet I still can't get anymore than £12 m2 for labour at the moment :'( Priced some work a little while ago and was contacted yesterday and told that they really wanted me to do the work but could I shave 5% of the price ??? This firm want a high standard of work but still don't want to pay for it. How are you guys getting £20 a m2 at the moment, is this on sizeable jobs or just small/extension type jobs?
