Hope this is the right forum to post to.

Two sides of my bathroom/shower are moisture-resistant drywall, and the bottom part of the walls started to fail after a couple of years (mold, general disintegration). The top part of the drywall is fine though. I want to remove the bottom part, replace it with Aquapanel (reusing the existing profiles), and join it with the remaining drywall. Will this work?

Hi Yaroslavp

Jessop is just playing with you - Ignore him!

Of cause it is OK to remove the affected boards at lower level, check that the studs are in good condition, and then replace the boards with Knauf Aquapanel Interior. The Knauf Aquapanel Interior is 12.5mm thick and should butt the existing boards perfectly....

See the attached link for the Knauf Aquapanel Interior brochure - ISSUU - Knauf Aquapanel Interior by Knauf

If you want any more assistance, post on here or get in touch with Knauf Technical - 01795424499, or give me a shout
