What do you say is a realistic sqm per day spraying mono or spray finish/muilti with a ritmo L???
forget about finishing i mean ((spraying)) 2+1 gang ???

forget finishing ?

well you could spray from 7am until 4:30 pm and put hundreds of metres on. you will need more than a two and 1 gang following you though scraping it

what i mean is leave the guy spraying say from 7:30 till 2pm and have two guys up his rear end ruling flatting troweling ect
I know that with finish youd want time to finish off setts but mono you can go for it knowing threes 2/3 in the morning scraping back

mono then next day scrape =SQM spraying rather then hand balling
finish muilti/spray finish = SQM spraying rather then hand balling
less down time mixing cleaning ect = more on the walls ect.

Id like to hear what currier has to say after seeing his youtube vids he has it well sown up

i use a ritmo L now on a daily basis. recently on a pair of new block semis using monorex i had myself and 2 apprentices on one gable side and a 2@1 subbie gang on the opposite gable side.
we started applying about 30 minutes before they did and we all finished about the same time. we had to stop twice to fill the other gangs water butt and wait for ours to refill.
the sides were 60 m2 each and took bout 2-3 hrs to lay on.
the points to notice are
the ritmo was a bit slower than a g5 but we still did the same m2
the ritmo was plugged into plot 7 kitchen
the ritmo was packed away by one man
i used an apprentice to spray and also one to run the ritmo and was able to output the same m2 as a good 2+1.
2 days later the apprentice no 1 using the ritmo was spraying dash receiver whilst i was flattening down and apprentice no 2 was following with our dash gun
we have some sprayed roughcasting to do next weekend using the ritmo and then some topcoating to finish the week after. all using one small single phase machine

soo its safe to say then spraying with a ritmo L your hit anything from 50m2 to 80m2 per monocouche and about the same spraying finish ?

The realistic m2 per day is what can you handle the machine will spray at 15 ltr s per min if you want to spray 160 m2and you can finish it then that's what you can do . You have to remember some scratch renders set faster than others so if we use webers in the summer our lads can have 100m2 on and be finished by 2 in the afternoon using k rend in the winter they can put 160m2 on and finish it the next day and I'm talking 2 men we have a few two man gangs that can do this . The machine is three time faster than Hand application so you need to work out what you want to achieve .

Thanks PFTnorthan just one of them things really out weighing the machine to hand applying trying to sell it too the contractors.
for internals its really about putting it cross with the H&S and the environment side of things will tick some boxes there
As well as the SQM side of it! more out put needing less man power and a faster turn around at a slightly better rate.
Got some big contracts in London soon hoping to get the ritmo there.

What health and saftey and enviromental bonuses are u selling?

Just tell them its rapid and saves them money thats what they care about.

If you go for internal be prepared to put in a lot of time, effort and money before u start seeing a return

Remember like les says you have to finish what you put on renders are good if you're skimming you have to spend an hour and a half finishing it so you will be limited with what you can achieve with a machine if you can regularly trowel up 50m on a normal housing site job then go for it and if you're doing thin coats go for it, compare with what you're doing by hand and with a machine and what you'll gain

exactly what northern says

its not what the machine will do its what you can finish before it goes too hard the machine will outdoo the men every time.

get to grips with the max you can scrape and then stick to spraying that
