If your looking to spray finish we would recommend looking at the M-tec M100 as well. Let me know if you any information on this machine

Yes you can spray multi,

BG and Knauf both have products designed specifically for spraying, these are obviously the better products to use for machine application.

So you need to buy "machine" multi and not ordinary off the shelf as it were multi?? And as for render set up?? The only difference (when I did machine work many moons ago) was bigger hoses and spray gun and end cap pluse the "schnekel" the changable mixing cylinder with the twisty metal bit in it (don't know what the name of them is over here) we changed that to a cement one. Is it similar now or has the technology moved on a lot?? The G4 looks almost the same as I remember them near 20year ago ?? Am only asking a lot as I keep looking at those ritmos and wondering if the work I do would justify getting one?? :RpS_confused:

No mate my work is private and odd commercial?? Mostly farm/stone built houses and extensions and reburbs etc
Only asking , don,t want you to by something that you will only use 8 weeks of the year , unless your loaded , do you do much mono work mate

You can spray just normal 'off the shelf multi' but the BG spray finish is better through the pump as you get less build ups in the machine

For spraying the finish plasters you use a different rotor and stator set up and also thinner hoses, the guns also different as the air comes in through 6 holes in the spray tip allowing it to spray flatter and more even.

Never done mono here ?? Is it like k rend or like a rubbed (looks like rubbed Tyrolean) done with plastic trowels??

The only reason i got a machine was to add mono as a string to my bow , now it is 70% of my work ,i think if you buy a machine ,using it for modern renders is the way forward , imo

Got to be in it to win it mate :RpS_wink: , but you don,t need a machine to do mono , just makes life easy

I dont do much render work,l'll be using the machine for new build houses, got a decent run of work lined up,is there much difference in the price of multi and spray finish?

I was in that position. Now it is modern render or find someone else. Mixing s&c is hard work.

I really love sand cement tho and most of my work is doing that but latley a few have been asking about k rend (think the German kratz putz is much better) plus other stuff I've never heard of? Don't want to lose any work tho I can't afford that, who can??

Mono is so thick to do by hand. Once you have sprayed it you will never want to do mono by hand ever again!

if you like s&c then you could use Webers OCR. A lot creamier and lighter than s&c to use and you can do a fair thickness the same day.

No I am not in a training vid?

Mono is cement based. They all look the same but all have their own characteristics. The uk mono are faster setters but brittle, the German & French are slower setters but more reliable and don't necessary cost more.
