All I want is a decent roof rack and 3m pipe holder for my t5 transporter .... is that to much to ask, its a mine field out there !!!!

Hello Mate
I got mine from the local Ply line company, fully fitted included in the price cost me £450 really happy with it, will dig out the paperwork and let you know makes it, looked at others but found them way too expensive

I got some nice roof bars for my nissan primastar, but the wind noise on the m/way is deafning, i've noticed that some of the roof racks are more aerodynamic, so you can actually hear the radio.

thanks guys .... I was thinking a rhino roof rack with rear roller and the rhino 3m pipe carrier but thats nearly £500...... do i really wanna spend £500 on a roof rack?

What you want is a nice wind deflector fitted to the front bar worked for me,no wind noise at all now

Good tip.

I go to France in my transit a lot & forgot to take roof bars off last time
f@@k me what a noise i'll look into that wind deflector save me taking em off all the time ;D

Try halfords,They have a limited selection of there own brand commercial roof racks.I just bought one for my transit for half the price of the branded ones, and it can hold more weight and is better made.
Only thing is they dont look as pretty.
Only the larger halford stores sell them so ring around.

Get a pair of the genuine VW roof bars mate. Only £180. They look the b*ll***s and are totally impractical for what you want. ;)
