Saint Gobain to aquire build center

Saint Gobain (who make weber) are to buy Build center out in a deal worth 145M they already own Jewson but I never bought gear from there but I am hoping that Build center will be able to offer good rates on gear such as weber rend etc.

A guy in TP told me ages ago they had an agreement with other BMs not to drop cement prices below a set price (can't remember the figure now!)

doesn't matter if you don't use jewson ,s g supply the competition anyway wherever you buy mats from

they own builders merchants worldwide under different brands but are no 1 in europe that i know

jewsons are unbelievably expensive if you dont have an account i dont know how many of their customers have one and i dont understand how they sell to anyone without one

Ime doing quite a large extension at the moment and use an independant supplier basicly because he is quite a bit cheaper than the big suppliers, the clients brotherinlaw works for TP and got the mats for 20%cheaper than my supplier, makes you die its all a rip of.
