Just to let you know that a Samsung galaxy mobile will survive being submerged in a bucket of Diluted PVA (3:1) for 2 minutes and still work. This was not a scheduled test.......:rolleyes). it just kinda happened, also transit van keyfobs will also survive the same test...............What a fewkin morning...............:RpS_thumbdn:.

so the tip of today is not to put ya mobile and keys in the pocket of ya work hoodie will leaning over a bucket of PVA..................:RpS_thumbup:

Done the toilet test myself but not with a smart phone, if it was that smart ,it would not have fallen in!

dont like a phone thats smarter than me so i will stick with my cheap nokia that always works and no one wants to steal plus i watch to much porn already a smart phone would just make it worse

Top tip there marra so when are you planning the bucket of multi test ?:RpS_lol:

hopefully never...........but you just never know when these random test's are gonna come your way............:RpS_thumbup:

This is why i have now reverted back to a samsung solid for work well that plus the fact that my clumsy fat old fingers can never get the touch screen to work proper when i'm plastering :RpS_unsure: so the good phone is just kept for posing in the bar now :RpS_laugh:

How did you know it was submerged for 2 minutes? Did you receive an incoming call and have that Jurassic Park moment wondering what was causing ripples in your PVA? :)

I bring the iPad to work as its great for photos that I can email later when I am online, find it expensive to have a paid SIMM in iPad...

I tested mine in a bucket of SBR slurry - just for a couple of seconds like. Still working :RpS_thumbsup:

cos i thought i had only drop the van keys in the bucket. so by the time i went back to the van to clean the keys and checked they worked and realised i didnt have my mobile and ran back upstairs to locate it in said bucket the time was approximate..............:rolleyes)

This is a great phone for plasterers

I can also confirm that the Samsung Galaxy will survive the brief period in washing machine after getting so insanely pissed that you pewke onto your own jeans test. Not sure it would have without the tight fit case though.

hi there done the phone drop in the bog and the bucket with lots for phones and some still ring out in bucket all still worked afterwards

are you a product tester??...........welcome to the forum by the way..................:RpS_thumbup:
