"well i have 40L of the stuff and it says loads of nice things on the tub like waterproof flexi strong ect lol"

what else does it say?

Slurry coat and grinder on that wall mate............there isn't even a chisel mark on it, so it's too smooth for my liking.

you would sbr slurry the whole building! then scratch and then top? that would take SOME time?

so with a slurry coat what mix would you use.. and i take it you would brush that on?!

and also can you scratch on top the next day?

I use a slurry mixture of 3 sand, 2 grano dust, 1 cement - add whatever sbr you think is appropriate and chuck it on with a dash trowel. Scratch coat next day.

had new windows in.. damp work on lower.. would have always looked crap patching 40% of building!

rendaid like wiz says about 10quid a bag does about 7-8 meters and its already polymer based same as sbr so why mess about gauging it all up and flickin it on when its alredy in a bag to go

How long does it take to cover 10m area with rendaid ?
Splatter- dash would be done in 10 minutes.......
less mate you trowel it on quite quick then just stipple with a hard brush or scrath with your scratcher

schutz gun off Ebay, through a compressor and spray your SBR slurry on, beats winding the bloody handle on a tyrolean gun. you'll have it on in no time.

microgebetis from parex, applied with a roller....does 80m or so a tub and costs 40 quid. great at dampening suction for a no brainer solution for walls like this with no gauging, mixing, guessing etc
