hi guys new to site.just a quick one can anyone help me do i need to wet the base coat b4 top coat goes on cheers bagrat

what system you talking about , if it's mono on block , then no at this time off year , or is it mono over pre-rend , then no not really , in fact unless you elaborate a little more then it's just a stab in the dark, it's like most plastering projects, it depends on what substrate your going on to and what product your using

The base coat is from WBs I think it is a standard base.for top coat am using com rend there own brand.

its not their own brand mate its krend in a wbs bag it will more than likely be krend uf-base or krend hp12 you are going over and krend comm rend (non silicone) scrape over the top. you dont need to wet it

i would not wet my basecoat your topcoat will slide like hell, its not as if it has to stay wet i.e for harling on a decorative chip. just coat the topcoat on 8 to 10 mm thick leave as straight as you can and then scratch float it the next day

Jobs been done piece of piss!I surveyed it every angle when sun is beaming on it perfection!mind you it was my house lol!!
