Hello everyone.
Have to plaster a block chimney with an inset stove installed which will reach very high temps.
Am going to use Vitcas high temp plaster for finishing, but am not wanting to spend a fortune on the special Vitcas Render as its seems from reading earlier posts that one coat with 5-1-1 sand / cement / lime will be OK for scratch coat.
Can anyone confirm that this will be a good job?
Do I have to PVA the blocks before applying the scratch coat. Stupid question, but will normal PVA do or does it have to be the high temp PVA (seen on Vitcas web site)
Can I apply the Vitcas Plaster the same day?
