screw lengths.

Am reboarding over existing ceiling. What's the best length of screw to use? 50mm?

Depends on what depth you need them to go through. I use anything from 40mm to 75mm. I usually use the longer ones for when im counter batoning the ceiling before boarding

50mm, should give you a good inch into the joists then.

I was thinking between 19-22mm for the board and 28-31mm into the joist. Cheers fellas.
