what makes your second coat peel when your polishing?

It can peel if your first coat has gone off too much, its all a matter of timing

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO anoying when that happens!

Bod is correct, it is the first coat setting and you cant allways tell its going to happen.

This should be added to the what do you hate about skimming thread.
