I have the walls of a square bay window to reskim and want to fix 3mm stop beads to bay walls as only these walls need doing.
The walls are currently painted, and i think a dab of some muck would be too thick, so whats the best way to set these beads as close as pos to the wall? a grab adhesive like gripfill? or do things like that react with the plaster?

cheers chaps

spose i could plaster to the existing, edwardian house so am guessing its wooden corner, prob need to dig some of the old stuff out... aint confident enough to feather it fine into old bead in case of cracking.
failing that ill use some adhesive on a stop as richard/adp said. cheers for that.

i use the plasterbaord fixing foam now for bead.. ready to skim in 3 mins! just a few dabs on in side of bead.. hold on wall for 30 secs.. job done

just pre cut a load of beads.. then dab a few small bits in bead.. leave for 3 mins on each bead and push on wall and hodl fro a short time.. then within a few mins you can skim 2 it.. any bits taht get on the bead face can be picked off when dry easy
