Shite multi

Any you guys noticed a difference in multi lately, been using bags that go out of date mid august so no problem there.
It seems to hang around for a good 3 1/2 hours then on the last pass it tears in areas, Almost like the skin is flaking off.
Then usually after that long you can run your hand over it but it’s to wet on the surface like it’s greasy….
When it dries it almost feels like a very fine sandpaper.
With almost 20 years skimming I’ve never seen it like this…complete shite
 
I don’t see why I should have to start doing this all of a sudden do you reckon it’s a change in manufacturing
 
Yeh thinking about it
I did 1 hit in morn over artex with a new bag no probs
Then the second hit was with the old s**t over new board and existing, that was ok until the last pass, then it turned greasy and wet, tried mediflex, plazzi and steel with no luck. And I know my timings are on point .

Mix it thick then wet back up

It is greasy and is different...it's like they have whacked some clay in there to bulk it out as it sticks like sh*t to a blanket to the buckets...they tried to save money with thinner bags didn't work...my suspicion is the mix has been bulked out with something in the last 5 years...@BritishGypsum
 
I have the white stuff in the multi,,,,,last batch of board finish was wild for the first time ever that I have used it.hung for ages and was weird gluey when applying.

Iv had this lately with board finish, you can tell by the colour if it’s going to play up.
gone back to multi last week and it’s been loads better
 
I have no problems with it, it’s all you rough cu nts on here, or it could be that bg give all the s**t stuff to the northerners cos all the properties uo there are shitholes and who would tell the difference?? Unlike sophisticated london properties/people,where we got a few Bob :coffe:
