The reason I ask is that I completed an 8 day plastering course after 3-4 plasterers messed me around and did a poor job I thought I'd do it myself. I have a full time job so don't do it for money just to finish my house and to help close family. I just wondered what everyone thought.

Just did a hall 8m long and 3m high, light switches, plug sockets, skirting, old gloss paint, some parts bonded, the wall was bowl shaped and with very little room to move. I this the worse I can expect? Please say yes :)

i did a four day course before xmas and i learnt the basics and did a reasonable job now im carrying on learnin in my garage to improve my plastering skills, i found my course good as i learnt a lot and did alot as well.

I would say that plastering is one of the easier trades to learn but it takes along time to master!

I will give you that too.... I am still learning....

I will also say that you know that you are good when you turn up and not phased by barreled ceilings or shitty drylining.
