ive ony experienced domestic in plastering, i been thinking in future about going site work cause a lot of crap comes with domestic and dunno if i fancy the hassle when im the main man,

id like to just turn up do it and go, being in a nice open space not having to climb over furniture and toys and keep extra clean sounds good to me

how much u expected to do on site?

Only do sites and commercials, ill do a PJ if i have to but hardly ever and before any one says PJs are keener i doubt youve ever worked for the MOD or Prison service they do take the piss.

as much as you want on price............or 8 hours a day daywork, there isnt that much pressure on site, you get the site managers asking you to do things yesterday but ignore them thats there job

Wouldn't go near a site moneys crap, can make a weeks site work wage in about 2 days domestic work. On the plus side for site work is the obvious fact that its a guarenteed wage but so is domestic if your established and have a good name for yourself.

I have done loads of both, site work is a bit of a holiday compared to domestic,

Domestic can be a clunt pricing going merchants all the time, however £1.5k - £2.5k a week makes it worth while....lol

£750 on day work avg on site is nice ang guarunteed, I would like that at the min providing it was guarunteed till next april

Danny

PS I am soooo tired had some heavy few weeks, 3rd weekend I am working through now

Last year in London. Ended up coming home with less than i went with  :P
you might have had a bad one mate and i do agree with trowel addict ;D
on the right job on site you can earn between 2-300 a day and if youre in with the contractor you will earn 120 min day in day out .............if you take the rough with the smooth it can average out quite well

Yep,

been about the norm for about a year now, some weeks are better than otgers, I now have another spread doing work for me now so I in theory do less.... however I still working every day and weekends...lol the head aches aint worth it sometimes

Danny

Thought I'd answer for him.
No he makes no money from the site.
There is some in the advertising but he tells me that covers the cost of the site etc.
Danny has made it clear that he will NEVER charge for membership.

Me and Segs get nada. Cos I've been asked that too!

I think it's a fair question by the way
:)

would it make a difrence....some forum can make cash on adds and stuff thing iv noticed about this forum is u can advertise a bit .some wont let u do that .mabe if we all buy tools from him he would make cash. seen a forum a few years ago thy wer selling fake chips for party poker...and ppl wer going crazzy for them...it was the play mony chips ppl wer buying .long story unless u played party poker . cjk

nicksey, I get a bit from advertising as dp said but that just about covers server costs ect.

All my sites I started as a hobby, and when I am away travelling it should hopefully help fund the trip... hope

if you click through to the shop then through ebay and buy anything I make a small commission..... my other sites all have these shops which prove quite successful.

I dont want to flood you guys with adverts as I feel it will take the experience away.

dont worry I wont charge members

Danny
