no they bend em out on edges sometimes...either dab em, tack them or staple with decent non rusting staples......i normally dab them to bed in better

not really pal they tend to stick out a bit becaose they are countersunk maybe if you can get them on the holes they might pull in i normally stick em or staple on

drywalls work fine, but make sure you get them in far enough the skim will cover (test by placing your trowel on the edge of the bead and the board.

A chippy I know wanted a go at reskimming his bathroom anyway he told me he wasn't sure of the best way to stick beads on an overskim so he stuck them up with scrim on each side of the bead ;D ;D ;D ;D

thats f**k all, we went to overskim a ceiling that these cowboys had done. while we were in there i noticed the chimney breast they had dont aswell, and they taped the beads on with duct tape. not vertically which you could alllllllllllmost understand. but horizontally, so you could see 4 little bits off tape down the bead where they had gone round it. F*****g rough cnuts.

I went to do a reskim for my brothers mate, he prepped it himself and stuck beads on with a hot glue gun, i thought WTF, it was the best way yet i've come across they set immediately.
