Skim ceiling and dryline front room- London SE7

Hello lads. I’ve had to abandon working on the front room due to having to look after the baby. Ceiling is over boarded with a thin coat on. Walls are sound but need thermaline on the exterior walls - 2 of. I’d like the interior walls skimmed which are in very good nick. Chimney breast needs preparing to take a stove w flue liner - possibly glasroc on the breast as the Victorian brickwork is a mess.
Photos show one interior wall and the ceiling.
Job is in Charlton Se7 and I would like to get on with it sharpish. Plenty more work to renovate further four rooms if this goes well. Thanks for reading and happy new year. Pete

Thin coat of joint cement is my bet so will make it a high suction and a lot harder to finish than had it just been left plasterboard.
