On the spec i've got its skim over thompsons damp seal, this is internal work. Anybody skimmed over this before? can't use pva to prime (water based) can't score for obvious reasons. Can i use blue grit? is that water based? or wba?

I've never had to do this but why don't you do a little test panel on a bit of spare board if you're worried.

Damp seal is meant to be breathable.
But if you've gotta skim on it I would use WBA or equivalent, pva would hang for ages as damp seal is usually oil based paint.

Thanks Mark thats what I thought, i can get blue grit locally, that will be ok wont it and after 24 hours?

Thanks m8, keep on meaning to order some, i'm putting it on contractors account a the moment and its costing them 35 plus vat. If I supplied I could be making 50% everytime I use a tub!

Wickes wba smaller tubs does approx 10m, same price as bondit per m handy if you've got a little wall
