Skimming over dry lining

Started a job today...skim over drylining...there was paper tape on the corners, I removed the lose stuff the rest seemed to be stuck solid...ok to skim over?

pva or bond it bead all corners as norm .

Remember the scrim tape especially in the corners.If there are any gaps fill these first.Then pva and away you go.
