Hi everyone

I've put paint stripper on old flakey paint, it's only taken a bit of it off, if I sand down the rest so it's not flaking off am I ok to score it, pva then skim?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Excellent thanks for help guys. Do you guys ever use Cementone Plasterers Stabalising Primer? Supposed to give a good key for skimming, is that instead of PVA or in addition to?

Thanks again

If it's gloss use gyp bond otherwise pva and skim mate you don't have to get into fancy stabilising solutions you're reading into it too much you ******* **** :-)

plasprime plasprime plasprime is the best stuff same as gypbond but better as you dont need to keep stirring coz the aggregate dont sink which results in a much more even coat.
