as a guide mate 1.5 - 2mm first coat, second coat 0.5 - 2mm (depending on how good your first coat was flattened in 
).. total thickness around 2-3mm, maximum thickness, well, up to around 10mm if you keep adding more coats but in two hits youll be lucky to get a decent finish on anything thicker than about 5mm...
drying times vary considerably depending on background, thickness applied, ventilation, temperature etc but as a guide a good 3mm coat on fresh board should take around 1.5 - 2 days, although applied thick on a shiny surface in a damp room in winter it can take up to a week..
