ihave read posts about using either paint or food colouring in pva so you dont miss any part of wall out which to me is good idea. i was thinking could this be applied to first coat of skimming , so then when applying second coat you would not end up with tiger stripes or blemishes
 
i might be wrong about this one but i think u get tiger stripes when troweling up because the first coat has gone way before the second coat.... trying using wba to kill the suction and apply second coat a bit earlier... so when the second coat is ready to trowel up the first coat isnt hard.

dosnt really matter about tiger stripes as long as the walls are flat and blemish free(ish)
