Hi, About to build a new house with white skye marble drydash harling and grey fyfestone basecourse and quoins. I've seen the render look a bit discoloured after a few years presume its the white cement used underneath the chips. Could that be avoided by using a lightly coloured cement instead? I know our last house was cream coloured cement with cream chips and it still looks fine. Thoughts please.

Use K Rend Silicone Dash Receiver. Water repellant and doesn't absorb dirt like ordinary Portland cement does.

That's what am on the now rigsby, but champagne, feck that snowcrete would rather stack shelves in tesco than use that ****..

I think all render systems discolour after a few years. If you want to tone the cement down a bit use building sand instead of silver sand
