Hello all, first post on here. Got a small ewi job to do and am wondering if you got any tips for best pattern of applying the acrylic finish for one person. It's only me doing the job and it measures 3.6m high x 6m wide, so one lift with no windows or angles, just a straight slab of area. I've done acrylic work before but not such an area on my todd. Would you start top left and do thin band all way from left to right say a couple of feet high and finish then straight back to the wet edge under left side of band again. Or maybe get half way then back to start and then put a foot or so under where you started to keep it wet then back to middle to finish 2 foot band all way across then 1 foot bit and so on untill I reach the bottom. The thing is that if it was 3.6m wide and 6m down it would mean less wet edge to worry about and quite manageable, but being that it's 6m of wet edge to worry about me arse is a twitchin a little. Laying it on two handed with the swiss trowel I find is much quicker than hawk/trowel(couple of poles taught me that one) but you never know with this stuff.
I suppose a spiderman impression might work by doing it vertically from top to bottom and take the 3.6m band all the way across? But me knees are aching just thinking bout it...would love to spray it on but don't have the kit yet(Strobot you will be mine!)
Any thoughts guys or is i just bein a wimp???

get a small saucepan for filling your hawk and do it like you said should be alright its getting colder feel the wall before you start if its warm dont do it simples

Thanks man yeah a saucepan sounds good. She wont mind, although would be perfect if it was more of a sausage shape to fit on the swiss trowel in one plop though.....be a bit like pouring an omelette on a ruler...my poor poor trousers

also when you get to a joint put it on a bit thicker then when you come to texture the joint scrape it back that way it wont dry in so quick
