smooth and rough surface

I wish to know, when doing a finishing coat on the plastering is it possible to get all the wall smooth, without rough patches?
as in it feels like sand paper

Impact no good for screwing plasterboard IMOIMO

i did have problems using impact drivers until i bought the screw stopper bits got a nice metal one now love it just put screw it and buzz till it jumps off:RpS_thumbup:
