I'm sure it was on this forum where some 1 found a so called plasterer advertising with the motto " With our revolutionary smooth-it system". Has any1 seen a whole room done in this sh1t?

When Artex became unpopular, all the staff needed something to do, so being part of British Gypsum, Artex adopted the Speed Tape division and they now run that. They also look after a lot of decorators merchants and supply them with jointing materials, coving etc. I buy most of my Gyproc products from Artex, indirectly. Smooth it is available in bags too, but I was told it is basically the same as Easifill.
 
Kebab do you know how many M2 a tub will do?? is the surface ready for painting when it,s scraped of, or does it still need a skim?? I,m thinking cheeper and quicker to overboard and skim??
 
i can tell you now that product will be s.h.i.t. most modern ceilings are boarded and taped then artexed not skimmed first and the boarding is usually pants so will need to be skimmed anyway
 
£90 for a tub of stuff I,ve never heard of ??? Think I,d stick to what I know best! i.e. get Rich B to do it, and I'll watch, and keep him happy by telling he,s brill. LOL :P

And then they find out why it was Artex'd in the first place...cos the ceiling was a minger.

So now they need us anyway, but they have removed the artex for us allready..........bingo!
 
I would be worried if i was you rich as his post says he wants to watch you and i imagine with that comes touching himself
 
Barry I'm always touching myself when I lay up!! I just can,t help it. Sometimes, when it,s hot and theres no one around I do nude skiming, and I use the lab as a stand for me spot board :P it just makes the day go a bit quicker ;D

where do you keep your margin tool? actually, i don't wanna know...
 
i was given this gear by a contractor who uses it, it good gear, the lid i tried it on it just blistered like paint stripper, most fell on the tarps the rest took seconds to get off.The lid underneath was in good nick, so it just got painted.
