has anybody had any trouble with using snowcrete lately as there seems to be a lot of hard lumps in the cement where i have to sieve before using no matter where i seem to buy it i dont get the problem with grey cement i bought 10 bags from trade point and had to take them back after opening 2bags as they were full lumps so would rugby cement be a better option any advice

Cement powder doesnt have a long life especially in damp conditions if it has lumps in it then it is either old or has been affected by moisture and as not alot of it is sold the places that do sell it tend to have the same stock for sometime

that is probably the problem its old stock but also i find i dont seem to get a good a mix as when i am using grey cement,i can mix a 4-1 sand/cement with waterproofer or feb and get a good cohesive mix but use the same ratio with snowcrete and its seems sandy and watery,i mixed a 12-3-1 sand/cement/lime with feb at the right gauge 250 ml today and it still wasnt right is the the old snowcrete to blame
