I think even worse is the fact they said they had installed a damp course, all they have done is board over existing wall without even stripping paper off, not one of the finest examples of work I’ve seen, Andy g you been working in Bootle by any chance lol

I.d have skimmed it as well . That papers horrible.
Can i just say a builder once phoned me and asked if you can skim over paper as they couldn't get it off even with steamer.
I said I.ll do it but it's on his back .
This was a full large high ceiling room and its still on wall three years later

Saw a bubble on wall . 2 mins later another then a bigger one. 5 mins later 2 walls on floor . Joys of job painter over paper
