CROYDON PURLEY WAY
Wickes got 12 at mo according to website. These lorries must be going straight to sites. People definitely looking online at stock levels. Needs spreading about literally to give everyone a crack at it
 
A client of mine has got hold of ten bags of atlas plus gipsar from lawsons. (Down south)
Anyone know what it’s like to use etc and any tips?

I had a proper ring around every merchants I know around me today, I tried to call in a few favours as well and the best I got from them all was 3 weeks wait time! Ffs British gypsum at 80% of full capacity MY ARSE!!!!

And then when 3 weeks comes it will sell out again straight away :ROFLMAO: or have there set a pallet aside for u?
 
I know of some1 who bought 200 bags off ebay,hes loaded so dsnt matter to him but him got 60 bags too much for his new build,hes putting them bk on ebay :ROFLMAO:

Got a couple little jobs booked in nxt week then il be having a couple week off mysen,priced a job for a builder,weve just finished extension and wanted us to refurb rest of house,price he wanted us to do it for took the piss so said no..I'm not selling my soul as of yet,not working on £170 a days just yet

Wouldn't be a bad thing if plaster did cost £ 30 bag, we dont pay for it, it's in the price... they seem to know plaster is cheap, but dont know how far it goes, so 4 bag room, tell them it take 6, 60£ on top of price already...not do bad..

I think it's to do with who you are aswell and what sort of relationship you have with the merchants,there guna look after a firm who spends £1000s a month than some 1 man band.cant see getting a bag and bq or wickes for a few months
 
I type Birmingham, Liverpool, Wee Jimmy land. Stock always changes. I've got this theory. So I'll share. I've found out with charm when the deliveries come. I sat and watched 4 lorries at B&Q but so far not one delivery of plaster in over 2 months, however. Wickes are delivering alternative weeks I think. Maybe. Find the time. Stake it out. Wickes definitely taking delivery of plaster. Seen two pallets marked Newport on lorry going to Wickes. I was so close I could smell it. I was having evil thoughts

Wickes seems more on the ball than b@q
 
Travis are all pre orders for a while now. I was told that Stamford Travis has 9 pallets already sold and allocated to customers. They haven’t even got the stock yet but it’s all pre sold.

I can’t see stocks back to normal for a good while. People will be buying up 2-3 months worth of gear at a time to see them through any further shortages.
