Sponge Floats.....?

The guy who ran my plastering course said the majority of the young guns on site now swear by them and I personally find them very useful at emphasizing any low spots

Haven't really heard anyone mention them on here - whats everyones take?

I own one I have used it when I am in trouble the day after, see a crappy wall run over it with e float and trowel it.

BUt i not seen anyone ever use one...lol

i;d never seen or heard of them sponge floats till i saw the plasterers on diy sos.. bit sad soundin i know! but not a bad programme and if you watch close enough you can pick up some good tips off it and there fine plasterers.. i wondered wat the hell he was doin when i saw him rubbin up finish the way he was but now i know.. theyve only used them a cpl of times tho in all the programmes...
