evening all.. is there any need to stabilise new render (external) berfore you paint.? does this give a better finish? always thought you could apply masonary/ sandtex direct to new render was good enough..
stabilising solution is for use on powdery, chalky surfaces usually found on old renders, exposed to the elements. if the surface is sound, use sandtex watered down 30%.
