Stabilising solution

Got to skim over some distemper on a job thats coming up in a few weeks. Gonna scrape of the loose stuff, then scratch the wall to give a mechanical key, then apply a stabilising solution prior to PVA then overskim.

Anyone got any recommendations for a decent brand of stabilising solution?

Go to a paint shop theyl have it in abundance.
