goin to eml one this week whats best to form it just a sponge or small trowel not done one for years its gonna end up in a kitchen this so dont really want it lookin shite

bond it out then shape with a plasterers busk you can trowel the finish with a plastic trowel

do what wiz says but it might help if you prick the eml out first with bonding like a scratch coat let it set then float it to shape .
