startin colleage looking for company to take me on teeside

Im lookin to get in to plastering and have enrolled for a course in september and would preffer to do it has an apprentice were i work 4 days and go in to colleage 1 day but need a company to take me on to do this does anybody no of any companys around the teeside area who would be willing to give me that opportunity

do you know if the government will subsidise (fund) your wages? so a company thats willing to take you on wont have to pay for the priveledge of educating you? if so, then you'll stand a better chance...
by that I mean there used to be schemes similar wheras the goverment paid the company a lump and you basically got a 'yts' paypacket with a little top up from the company... designed to encourage more companies to stick their necks out and risk taking on an apprentice as opposed to already trained personel that they didnt have to teach anything to...

True get involved and they'll get you the leads keep you're head down have a bit of patience and get on with it
