Has any of you men when s&c outside ever started at the bottom of big gables?

Always done it that way..You can get an earlier start at the bottom, so by getting loads on by mid morning you've won the mental battle. Next day the board and stand and rules are on the top lift and you're ready to go .U all probably think it's very silly,I have been doing it this way for a few years,when u wet the wall the water always runs to the bottom?so the top is generally dryer than the bottom of the wall,I just wondered if any man had ever tried it,works for me,done a big gable today not a problem this way

An old plastrer told me the reason they start from bottom becouse the top coat over laps the bottom it makes sens likes roofing felt but I always start from top I never did take him seriousHas any of you men when s&c outside ever started at the bottom of big gables?
